Berry Kidd Sosa, Chief Consultant

Berry has thirteen years experience working in fundraising and non-profit administration, with a focus on data analysis and management. After beginning her career as a music educator, Berry first became involved in nonprofit administration with the Jay County Arts Council in Portland, Indiana in 1998. Her experience designing and implementing Microsoft Access databases there led to a five-year tenure with the Louisville Fund for the Arts. At the Fund for the Arts, Berry raised over $3,000,000 for the corporate and employee workplace campaigns. Additionally, she managed the 300,000+ record Raiser's Edge database, overseeing a major reorganization and conversion of data to meet the needs of the sales team. Berry was also the concept designer of e-Campaign, one of the first software products in the nation to electronically manage workplace fundraising campaigns.

Later, Berry worked as an Account Manager and data analysis specialist for Horizon Research International in Louisville where she coordinated national online brand tracking studies for Fortune 500 companies, managing data collection and report development for those projects. She has also served as a Supervisor in the Statistical Methods & Quality Assurance Branch of the United States Census Bureau's National Processing Center. For the 2010 Decennial Census, she oversaw quality assurance reviews of data prior to its final delivery to the Department of Commerce.

In 2006, Berry founded SOS Data Solutions, Inc., a company which provides fundraising technology support and services. Since 2006, Berry and her team have provided Raiser's Edge training, Microsoft Access database design, interactive website development and custom report creation services for over 20 clients.
